About the RoleA Senior Full Stack Developer architects and develops enterprise-grade web applications using Java and React, helps to lead small teams, and plays a key role in mentoring other developers.
We need collaborative, energetic team members who are capable of becoming experts in RainFocus products, industry best practices, and who work well within small, focused teams. Our senior developers are thought leaders within the Technology organization and often assume additional responsibilities to mentor, train and build the development skill set with their peers.
Responsibilities:Develop and maintain our core product set with a focus on usability, security, and scalabilityWork closely with Product Management to deliver high-quality products to our customersDevelop advanced prototypes for new innovationsImplement full-stack features from database design to services and APIs to the user-interfaceQualifications:7+ years of professional software development experienceExperience peer reviewing code while providing feedback and improvementsExperience architecting complex solutions, then projecting your vision and thought process to other developersVery strong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Agile Software Development methodologiesExperience in Object-Oriented design and programming.Experience in RDBMS (MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, etc.) including database design and advanced SQLExperience with front-end development using a modern JavaScript framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.Preferred skills:Experience with Struts2 MVC, Spring FrameworkExperience integrating with 3rd party systems via APIsTeam Lead ExperiencePersonal characteristics:The best candidates for this position will need to have strong chemistry and a culture fit within RainFocus.They will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic environment.Additional personal qualities include: Team-player, Self-motivated and Strong Communicator.Why work at RainFocus?
