Join our team at Terex/Genie and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Customer Service Representative to contribute to the Genie Customer Operations Team.

As a Customer Service Representative at Genie, based in Oud Gastel (Roosendaal), you'll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of our busy, multilingual, and international Machines Customer Service Department within the mechanical equipment industry. Your main role is to sustain good customer and sales relationships, maintenance of complex order management processes and communicating with different stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service.

What you’ll do

  • Process customer orders in TMS (Oracle) with accuracy in configuration, terms, and pricing.

  • Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions and transactions in Salesforce.

  • Provide quotes for lead times, pricing, and shipping.

  • Respond promptly to customer and sales inquiries, providing clear communication to resolve order fulfillment issues.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Materials, Logistics, and Technical Support to address customer needs.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships with the sales team.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing the overall customer service experience.

  • Handle regional and international shipping.

  • Participate in ongoing personal development and training.

What you’ll bring

  • Associate degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written). An additional language as German, French or Spanish is a plus.

  • Experience in a customer service or support role, ideally within the automotive, machinery, or logistics industry.

  • Familiarity with CRM software and ERP systems, and strong with MS Excel.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Proactive attitude with eagerness to learn new products and processes and willingness to go the extra mile to meet customer needs.
