SUMMARY:
As a Stock Program Manager, you will take ownership of and lead the development, implementation, and administration of our Rewards Framework, with a primary focus on Stock. You will be responsible for overseeing and auditing all aspects of our stock programs, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure the strategic management of our stock programs and drive the success of our Total Rewards initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead, manage, and audit the Rakuten Stock Administration Program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
2. Own and drive the design, review, and management of Stock Program tools.
3. Manage the Stock Program budget and conduct comprehensive audits of stock-related processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrections.
4. Perform in-depth analysis and generate executive-level reports to assess current rewards programs, trends, best practices, and other related initiatives.
5. Collaborate with HRPBs to develop and implement effective stock-related communication strategies.
6. Collaborate with various HR functions to enhance employee experience.
7. Oversee the preparation and execution of the global annual compensation review process related to stock, including data validation and Workday Advanced Comp
configuration and testing.
8. Provide input on the vision and mission of the Rakuten Stock Program, working with the Director, Total Rewards for Total Rewards Programs and the Global Head of Total Rewards
9. Lead the partnership with the Stock Program Team in Japan
10. Lead the partnership with the HRIS team to maintain and improve stock data integrity in Workday.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in Compensation/Payroll/Finance/Reporting, with a focus on stock administration.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.) and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and auditing skills with meticulous attention to detail; extensive experience in working with people data is required.
• Proven ability to build and manage productive relationships; excellent interpersonal, consulting, and communication skills to work collaboratively across teams and diverse cultures in a matrix organization.
• In-depth knowledge of Equity Programs and related regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end program management, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels

Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate as well as business need and geographic location. The successful applicant for this role will be eligible for discretionary bonus, health, vision, dental insurance, 401k matching, PTO, Volunteer Time Off (VTO), and other employee benefits as the company implements.
