We are currently seeking a Desktop Engineer to join our technology services team based in our Bethpage, NY office.

JOB SUMMARY 

 

The Desktop Engineer is a critical role within the Global Technology & Operation (GT&O) organization responsible for managing and securing our fleet of client devices.  This role is an experienced Windows and Apple systems engineer whose primary responsibilities are managing our device management platforms, packaging and deploying software and security updates, and securing our endpoints  This role must be proactive, able to work both independently and within a team, and committed to continually learning and advancing their knowledge. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage enterprise device management platforms, including Microsoft InTune, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, JAMF Pro, and Apple Business Manager 
  • Manage the deployment of software updates, security updates, and operating system upgrades 
  • Build software update deployment packages for both Windows and Apple macOS 
  • Assist with the development and enhancement of Windows AutoPilot 

 QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred) 

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field or relevant experience 
  • 3+ years of experience managing and supporting Microsoft Active Directory 
  • 3+ years of experience managing and supporting Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 
  • 3+ years of experience managing and supporting JAMF Pro 
  • 3+ years of experience packaging software and security updates 
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft EndPoint Management (InTune) 
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Powershell scripting 
  • Strong understanding of macOS & Windows, including its architecture, security features, and troubleshooting 
  • Strong knowledge of deploying Windows 10/11 operating systems 
  • Experience with zero-touch provisioning workflows 
  • Strong knowledge of networking, server administration 
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL databases 
  • Experience with Microsoft Graph 
  • Strong knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices 
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Microsoft 365 Certifications (Strongly Preferred) 

The base compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000 commensurate with experience.
