Responsibilities

  • Review, maintain, and reconcile ASC 606 revenue and deferred revenue schedules.
  • Be a subject matter expert on invoicing within NetSuite.
  • Record and review monthly revenue journal entries, and analyze related general ledger accounts.
  • Maintain and update revenue forecasts to support business planning.
  • Review, maintain, and reconcile accounts receivable aging reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing, invoicing, and adherence to billing schedules
  • Address and resolve client questions and issues related to billing and accounts receivable.
  • Support the month-end close process, ensuring all revenue accounts are properly accounted for.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of internal control narratives and processes for revenue and accounts receivable.
  • Help prepare financial reporting packages and perform variance analysis.
  • Support annual audits by preparing necessary documentation and assisting auditors.
  • Assist with sales tax calculations and compliance.

About You

  • You have 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in revenue operations or accounting (ideally in a SaaS environment).
  • You possess a strong understanding of revenue recognition standards and their application.
  • You exhibit advanced Microsoft Excel skills (prior modeling experience is a huge plus) and have experience working with NetSuite (requirement) and Salesforce (preferred).
  • You are experienced in recording journal entries and analyzing financial data.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to convey complex information clearly.
  • You are highly organized with exceptional time management skills, able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have an exceptional eye for detail and strive for accuracy in everything you do.

About the Finance Team

  • We’re responsible for the financial stewardship of Quorum.

  • We believe that precedent is not best practice—we are constantly striving to improve our own workflow.
  • We work with a great sense of integrity and accountability. We strive to make Quorum an exceptional place to work.

Our Work Environment:

  • We are a hybrid team with flexible work options: work remotely or choose to come into our vibrant, sunlit space in our modern, open concept office in Washington DC.
  • Our office building is located in the heart of downtown D.C., easily accessible by metro, bus, and rideshares. It is also in close proximity to great restaurants, food trucks, shopping, and popular happy hour spots.
  • Our team loves to spend time doing fun things outside of the office - both together and remote, which we call Quorum Fun events. Past Quorum Fun events have included apple picking, yoga, virtual art classes and wine tasting.
