Key Responsibilities

• Drive Material Demand Planning by analyzing complex Bill of Materials (BOMs) to inform strategic procurement decisions.
• Ensure Supply Chain Visibility through the maintenance of real-time information on supply sources and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sourcing, procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and launch organizations, to align on material requirements.
• Develop and implement Material Allocation Strategies for materials that are constrained or at risk, prioritizing company objectives and supply conditions.
• Forecast Material Needs to assist procurement in both immediate and medium-term acquisition strategies.
• Optimize MRP Processes by enhancing our systems and workflows within the ERP to promote increased automation and precision.
  
  

Required Skills

• Comprehensive understanding of material planning and demand forecasting in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, LN, or Costpoint ERP.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive and integrate data for accurate material demand planning.
• Intermediate Excel capabilities for data manipulation, integration, and reporting.
• Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively across various departments.
• Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced setting with tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, or a related field is required.
• 2 to 10 years of relevant experience in material planning, demand planning, or fulfillment planning within a manufacturing context.
• Bonus: Familiarity with BOM reconciliation, NPD or NPI processes, data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau), design release protocols, and experience in the aerospace or advanced technology sectors.
