Global insurance and asset management company seeks a responsible, organized, dynamic and team-oriented person.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

• Deep and extensible workspace tech delivery experience who are adept at managing multiple concurrent initiatives;
• Position will include a mix of individual project delivery responsibilities in addition to overarching program management for the business portfolio of work;   
• Facilitate seamless delivery and drive collaboration across cross-functional project teams;
• Communicate and partner with senior leaders providing program level view into portfolio health, issues/risks, key decisions, and delivery status;
• Proactive leadership and monitoring to identify and mitigate critical path or resource issues;
• Manage project SDLC documentation following business standards (i.e. Team Working Agreement, Status Reports, Scope, Requirements, Test Plan/Results, RAID documentation);
• Monitor progress of deliverables, quality, proactively identifying risks, issues and escalation as needed with appropriate leadership;
• Create and maintain plans in MS Project Server; includes budget & forecasting, accruals, invoice mapping, and ensuring resources have appropriate time tracking buckets setup to bill time. Project Server is our core resource planning and financial management tool;
• Partner with the team in creating communication plans that includes project communication, meetings, change management for end-users, and internal team interfaces;
• Partner with functional resource managers to ensure work efforts are effectively resourced;
• Follow business release management process to schedule and manage delivery releases;
• Interface with stakeholders to manage expectations & escalations;
• Guarantee compliance with business delivery processes and standards.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Workspace Technology Delivery Experience including laptop/hardware rollouts, Office 365, SharePoint, OS Upgrades, Application Packaging, Citrix, end user change management, etc;
• Experience driving collaboration and providing project & program level leadership;
• Broad delivery management knowledge and experience spanning traditional project management methodologies in addition to lean agile practices;
• Knowledge and understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle);
• Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Project Server;
• Experience in formal techniques of risk management;
• Excellent organizational, communication, and influencing skills;
• Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills;
• Strong experience with change management;
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience;
• 8+ years of IT delivery management experience;
• PMP certification or other formal project management training preferred;
• Fluent English.
