ELITS is now looking for a skilled SharePoint Document Management Specialist to enhance our organization's management system structure and document control processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SharePoint configuration, metadata management, and document lifecycle control.

Key Responsibilities:

Management System Architecture

  • Design and implement an intuitive, clickable structure for our management system
  • Create a user-friendly navigation system for easy access to governing documents

Document Control

  • Configure metadata management for governing documents and daily records
  • Implement version control and document ID systems
  • Set up approval and publishing workflows for official document versions

SharePoint Optimization

  • Assess our current SharePoint configuration and identify improvement opportunities
  • Recommend and implement SharePoint add-ons to enhance document management capabilities
  • Develop custom solutions if necessary to meet specific organizational needs

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of SharePoint document management features
  • Knowledge of Sharepoint QMS
  • Expertise in metadata configuration and management
  • Experience with document lifecycle management, including version control and publishing
  • Familiarity with SharePoint add-ons and third-party solutions for document management
  • Ability to analyze current systems and propose effective improvements
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SharePoint certification
  • Experience with custom SharePoint development or add-on creation
  • Knowledge of information architecture best practices
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements for document management

The successful candidate will work closely with our IT and business teams to assess our current SharePoint environment, implement necessary improvements, and provide ongoing support for our document management processes. They will be responsible for evaluating whether our requirements can be met through standard SharePoint configuration, add-ons, or custom development, and will guide the implementation of the chosen solutions.
