Our client, a fast-growing remote-first software-as-a-service company that builds web & mobile software for the property inspection industry, is looking for a Sr Frontend Developer (Vue) to be part of a small but rapidly growing team with big ambitions.

The platform helps home inspectors work more efficiently, allows agents to streamline the inspection process, and empowers homebuyers to make better decisions.

They typically work a 40-45 hours work week, with the occasional push depending on the sprint. They realize its a marathon and not a sprint, so they dont think working to the point of burnout is a good practice.

As their Senior Vue Developer, you'll be the driving force behind creating web experiences that are not just functional, but breathtaking. You'll be tasked with architecting complex applications that handle thousands of daily active users, optimizing for performance that breaks industry standards, and mentoring a team to elevate their skills to your level of expertise.

You're the perfect fit for our client if you are not just proficient in Vue.js but the person others turn to when they're stuck. Your knowledge of modern frontend ecosystems is encyclopedic, and you have strong opinions on everything from state management to build tooling. You don't just keep up with the latest trends; you predict them.

Responsibilities
- Develop scalable and maintainable frontend applications using Vue.js and TypeScript
- Collaborate closely with designers and backend developers to translate designs into responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect interfaces
- Architect and implement reusable components, libraries, and frameworks to streamline development processes
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and provide peer mentorship
- Optimize performance for frontend applications, ensuring a seamless user experience
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in frontend development, Vue.js, TypeScript, and other relevant technologies
- Contribute to discussions around UI/UX design, architecture decisions, and technical roadmaps
- Work in an agile environment, delivering high-quality code on time and on scope
- Own the entire lifecycle of a ticket: scoping, development, test, production, and subsequent fixes and improvements

Requirements

Must have:

. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in frontend development with a focus on Vue.js and TypeScript

 - 5+ years of professional experience in typing, interfaces, and strict typing best practices

. 5+ years of professional experience with Vue 3, including Composition API, Vue Router, and Vuex (or Pinia)

- Knowledge of component-based architecture, state management, and testing (unit tests, e2e tests) for Vue applications

- Advanced proficiency in English, enabling clear communication with clients and colleagues.

Nice to Have:

. Experience with Rails and Postgres is a huge bonus

- Familiarity with CSS frameworks like TailwindCSS, and a good understanding of design systems and best practices for UI/UX design

- Familiarity with modern build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Rollup

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams

- Prior experience working with US-based companies.
