As a Senior Product Manager you set the product vision, define use cases, analyze customer needs and financial implications, and ultimately choose the most promising path for success. You will work directly with design, research, engineering, analytics to collect input, mold requirements, and validate features. You drive prioritization for your area, communicate with internal stakeholders, conduct user testing with customers, and work on the go to market plan with product marketing. You will also be responsible for driving product adoption and improving the customer experience through your products while aligning with the bigger OLX goals.
About the role
In this role, you will be part of the "Ad Posting" team within the Listings & Inventory management pillar. This team plays a vital role in enabling listings creation for sellers on OLX's mobile apps and web platform. Listings & Inventory management is part of the broader Supply pillar, one of the three main pillars driving the development of the OLX platform. You will report to the Head of Product.
What you will do:collaborate with a talented cross-functional team and guide them from concept to successful product launches, while maintaining team health and motivation,lead initiatives focused on improving the efficiency and quality of the posting journey, prioritizing the customer first approach,identify, test, implement and scale the use of Generative AI (Gen AI) for content creation to reduce friction for sellers and maximize their chances of success, applying iterative growth mindset,understand OLX competitive position and identify use cases to ensure the success of various types of sellers on our platform,collaborate with a wide array of colleagues from product, legal, marketing, and data science teams across all of our EU markets to ensure alignment and successful implementation of initiatives, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.Who we are looking forHighly motivated individual with a proven track record in product management, ideally at a high-traffic consumer Internet or e-commerce company. You have considerable experience building great customer-focused products from conception to full release.Creative thinker, experienced in data-driven product development and applying A/B testing, user research, conversion optimization, user testing, data analysis, competitor and market analysis in your decision making. Ability to extract insights , bring them closer to the teams you collaborate with through storytelling and define a roadmap and requirements focused on solving crucial customer needsAbility to take end-to-end responsibility for the product and ability to work independently with support and guidance from the Head of Product.Curiosity and taking the initiative to dig into the why, what & how and come up with proactive solutionsA problem solver who is not afraid of taking on big challenges, leveraging new technologies like GEN AI and applying breaking them to shape into products that bring value to customers and OLX.Someone who values collaboration and building consensus in and outside of your team and in large groups of stakeholders, in the spirit of teamwork and inclusivity.A person with excellent communication skills both written and oral.
