Purchasing Segment Leader - IT/Telecom

The VALEO Group Purchasing Department, wishing to continue its approach of globalization, standardization and optimization of spending on the IT/Telecom purchasing segments, is looking for a Purchasing Segment Leader - IT/Telecom.

Your responsibilities:

• Definition of the purchasing strategy for the IT segment by working closely with the Group IT Department

• Communicating this strategy to your country liaisons and ensure its proper implementation

• Initiation of all your global calls for tenders, ensuring that all the needs of the different countries or prescribers are integrated upstream, and ensure governance throughout the purchasing process until the implementation of the negotiations you have conducted

• Responsibility for ensuring that the purchasing processes and supplier panels that you have defined in collaboration with your prescribers are properly respected, according to Valeo standards and procedures

• Preparation of the annual budget for your scope

• Monitoring your actions and your suppliers using a number of indicators in order to measure and optimize the results of the policy deployed

• Monitoring the evolution of the market and solutions in your segments and markets in order to consider their possible referencing

Your profile:

• You have a Master's degree in Purchasing, Economics, Business or similar fields.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Buyer in the IT/Telecom scope, in an international context.

• Strong negotiation skills and have developed a strong customer and result-oriented approach.

• Fluent English, French is welcomed.
