Founded in 2007, DTI (Diversified Technology, Inc.) is a successful African American owned IT Consulting/Staffing firm based in Chicago's Loop.

What We Do

We focus on providing delivery, staffing, and supported services such as enterprise integration/implementations including, but not limited to, CRM, EAM, ERP, PMO, and QA. We service clients in SLED (state/local gov't & education), financial services, fortune, public utility, as well as regularly partnering with Big 4 SI partners.

DTI has an immediate need for an experienced Project Administrator to support our Engagement Senior Manager and Client team in overseeing, coordinating, and facilitating successful project delivery for a 2month contract. Please note we expect an extention thru August 2025.

This role plays a crucial part in managing the day-to-day operations of the Management Office for our team's portion of the delivery, focusing on administrative and communication-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a background in project leadership and strong organizational skills to assist in delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the Management Office, ensuring the project runs smoothly and deadlines are met.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and deliver project communications such as status reports, meeting summaries, and change orders to relevant stakeholders.
  • Team Support: Collaborate with the Engagement Senior Manager to coordinate the Client team's delivery efforts and ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Organize and facilitate meetings, including drafting agendas and documenting key action items and decisions.
  • Issue Tracking: Assist in tracking project issues, risks, and changes to ensure timely resolution and project success.
  • Change Order Management: Help prepare and manage any required change orders in collaboration with the project team and clients.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the project team, ensuring adherence to schedules and organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in project leadership, project administration, or a related role.
  • Proven ability to coordinate and support teams in high-stakes project environments.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in preparing status reports, meeting summaries, and change orders is highly preferred.
  • Analyze resource forecasts against actuals

Preferred Skills

  • PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
  • Experience working within a consulting or client-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with project management software like Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
