Job description

ASRC Federal is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to join our growing Proposal Operations Center. This is a remote position with travel requirements (mainly within the Washington DC metropolitan area but can be throughout the US).

Key Role: Collaborate with Proposal Managers, Capture Managers, Operations and other functional roles in support the production of proposal and other BD-related artifacts (i.e., RFI responses, oral presentations, etc.). This position is responsible for the overall administrative aspects of developing proposals varying in duration and complexity, including small, mid-size, and large, complex RFPs. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Manage multiple proposal projects simultaneously and maintain real-time status of all proposal projects
  • Maintain configuration control of SharePoint proposal sites and perform SharePoint administrative activities
  • Prepare proposal templates in compliance with RFP requirements and the Compliance Matrix (provided by the Proposal Manager)
  • Provide desktop publishing support for all proposal milestones (i.e., color reviews, final delivery)
  • Manage proposal logistics including scheduling proposal rooms and making sure they are set up appropriately for the proposal team
  • In coordination with the Proposal Manager, order supplies and food, as needed
  • Maintain proposal library by preparing files and archiving to the library
  • Manage the editing process for proposals and other BD-related artifacts
  • Work collaboratively with Proposal Managers, Capture Managers, Writers, and Graphic Artists

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Proposal Coordinator for Federal Government proposals
  • 5+ years of experience using SharePoint
  • 5+ years Desktop Publishing experience with Microsoft and Adobe products
  • Ability to operate or learn Production Copiers
  • Demonstrated ability to decompose and understand Government solicitation documents
  • Personal ownership and accountability coupled with strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in written format
  • Ability to coordinate multiple simultaneous assignments
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to work non-traditional work hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Must be able to travel to be on-site with bid teams to develop proposal artifacts
