Job Summary

The Senior Integrations and Technical Consultant has both the technical knowledge and business acumen to work through complex integration scenarios required by Paycor customers. They understand the business and technology landscape to maximize the impact of Paycor solutions for perspective customers. They speak from a position of confidence and credibility with their knowledge of Paycor’s interoperability options. They have the ability to provide technical insights while building rapport easily as a trusted advisor.

The Senior Integrations and Technical Consultant supports Paycor’s field sales executives in the sale of Paycor products by providing solutions and consultation for complex and unique setups. Activities may include technical demonstrations, discovery calls, and other sales activities as necessary. The ideal candidate takes a high degree of ownership over their work, is customer-focused, results driven, articulate, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Act as technical subject matter expert for integrating Paycor solutions with other systems during the sales cycle.
  • Support field sellers and Solution Experts as a technical resource in driving new business in relation to solution architecture, integrations, infrastructure, and security.
  • Work directly with prospects and customers during sales cycles to build confidence and excitement around the full functionality of the Paycor’s products and integrations with customer 3rd party systems.
  • Gather data integration requirements and define/architect solutions to prospects that solve their need to move data in and out of the Paycor system.
  • Provide solutions at the highest level through experience, research, and testing.
  • Have detailed knowledge on Paycor’s Platform, architecture, developer portal/APIs, custom engineering offering, disaster recovery, and security practices.
  • Assist in the conversion process for new clients by providing notes and other documentation to the Implementation Project Team in Paycor’s CRM.
  • Provide detailed feedback to the Product team in order to influence the roadmap and strategy.
  • Train other Solution Experts and field sellers on advanced system knowledge.
  • Study the competition in order to understand and communicate Paycor’s product differentiation in the market.
  • Serve as an expert for sales team and buyers on technical topics covered in 10-K and SOC filings.
  • Meet or exceed agreed upon sales and activity targets.
  • Responsible for the timely logging of various prospect engagements.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and regular attendance.
  • Maintain ethical business practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Extensive prior experience in a software consulting role.
  • Interoperability/Integration technical expertise.
  • Proven history in building technical credibility with tech buyers (IT, Security).
  • Experience designing, documenting, and presenting technical solutions that outline complex corporate environments leveraging API-based interfaces, as well as batch file-based interfaces.
  • Experience working with Engineering teams to stay current on platform capabilities and augment the Voice of the customer to improve product capabilities.
  • Past experience in software development / architecture preferred.
  • Familiarity with multi-tenant, cloud-native, SaaS solutions.
  • Able to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent customer focus, with an ability to effectively partner with internal and external customers.

We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, and education. We anticipate the base pay for this position to be between $85,540- 146,040. In addition to base pay, Paycor Associates are eligible for either a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on their position.
