Job Summary:
The Head of Global Pre-Sales will lead and develop a world-class global pre-sales team, ensuring seamless technical engagement across both pre-sales and post-sales cycles. This role focuses on engaging prospects to drive successful pre-sales outcomes and fostering long-term relationships with existing customers.
Overview:
As the Head of Global Pre-Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our sales organization by leading, developing, and scaling a world-class global pre-sales team. You and your team will serve as the glue—the critical fabric that ensures seamless technical engagement across both pre-sales and post-sales cycles. Your focus will be on not only engaging prospects to drive successful pre-sales outcomes but also fostering long-term relationships with existing customers to expand their use of Team Cymru solutions.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with extensive experience working with large enterprise accounts, including Fortune 500 companies, and has a deep understanding of threat intelligence or adjacent technologies. You'll help build a pre-sales function that engages with prospects and customers alike, ensuring their success with our solutions post-sale and driving continuous value.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the pre-sales team.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing global pre-sales team aligned with Team Cymru's vision.
- Manage and grow relationships with large enterprise accounts, demonstrating the value of our solutions.
- Collaborate with sales, product, marketing, and customer success teams for impactful engagements.
- Ensure the pre-sales team delivers a best-in-class customer experience, tailoring solutions to meet customer needs.
- Develop and implement global processes and best practices for consistency and scalability.
- Monitor team performance and optimize processes for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Represent Team Cymru at industry events, webinars, and conferences.

Education and Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering or solutions architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in threat intelligence, cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Proven success working with enterprise clients, particularly in Fortune 500 companies.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Availability to travel as needed.
