In this role, you will:
Maintain and secure test and production environments (VMs, OpenShift)
Develops and implements procedures for maintenance and alert responses.
Produce scripts for maintenance and database needs.
Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements
Manage and administer the On-premise and Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and security.
Migrate existing infrastructure services to cloud-based solutions.
Manage security and access controls of cloud-based solutions.
Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) leveraging cloud-native tooling to ensure automated and consistent platform deployments
Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to address and resolve technical escalations.
About the ideal candidate
At least 5 years of related experience.
Must possess a solid understanding of Linux OS and Windows OS.
Strong understanding and experience in Terraform
Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and code, pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Workflows, ansible, containers, docker, repos, working with git/branches/commits, yaml, json etc.
Strong understanding and experience supporting OpenShift / Kubernetes / AKS Production systems.
Experienced in optimization analysis, troubleshooting/best practices, and procedures.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of both classical on-prem and cloud-based environments.
Provide resolution of root cause analysis for the most business-critical incidents
Ability to mentor other team members.
Business level English is a must
Would be considered a plus:
Hands-on experience with Prometheus and Grafana
Ideally possess at least AZ-104, AZ-204 and AZ-400 certifications.
Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell is a plus.
Experience with ArgoCD
