Job description

Haptiq brings next-generation technology to private capital markets through the Olympus suite of cloud-based solutions designed to empower private equity and credit funds as well as the firms in which they invest.   • NET Developer is a professional who builds software applications using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. They are responsible for designing, coding with standard practices, testing the applications, as well as providing technical support, and maintaining software throughout its lifecycle.

The Opportunity

As a Design Lead (UI/UX) at Haptiq, you will be responsible for leading our UI/UX design efforts, ensuring that our products are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user-friendly. The Design Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences that align with Haptiq’s and our clients mission and goals.

Additionally, you will be instrumental in designing and prototyping elegant and intuitive experiences for our clients and their customers using top-tier design tools like Sketch, Figma, and Adobe XD. You'll spearhead product design decisions, ensuring seamless user-centric experiences that reduce friction between software and users. Your role involves collaborating closely with a cross-functional team, aligning on design goals and specifications, and contributing to all stages of the product design from user research to final delivery.

Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Coordinate requirements with stakeholders to define app and web experiences for consumer-facing products.
  • Innovate new consumer experiences and reduce friction between software and users.
  • Collaborate with engineers and a diverse set of stakeholders to align on design goals and specifications.
  • Produce design solutions using sketches, wireframes, and high-fidelity mock-ups, and present your work to partners and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to execute a strategic product roadmap for clients in the Private Equity sector for Haptiq’s Olympus Software Suite
  • Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • Analyze user feedback and data to inform design improvements and iterations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of UI/UX designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and support to team members, ensuring high-quality design outputs.
  • Be available to work with teams globally across different time zones.

Skills And Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in design or a related field, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Keynote, or Sketch.
  • The ability to design within brand guides and contribute to overall brand design language
  • Experience designing a variety of products, websites, web apps, e-commerce, and native apps.
  • Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions to various stakeholders.
  • A proven track record of delivering excellent experiences that meet user needs, product requirements, and strategic business objectives
  • Ability to share design rationale persuasively to all functions of the organization, including executives.
  • Excellent people management, leadership and team building skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Able to manage multi geography teams with effective Leadership.
