Job description

As the Head of People you will lead the hiring and employee development, ensuring our company culture is present everywhere. You will work closely with executives to define roles, scout for key positions, conduct interviews, and manage career plans while providing strategic input for growth.

About the Job

You will play a critical role in attracting and retaining top talent, hiring not only for content production but also for managers and executives to expand our leadership team.

As the Head of People, you will be responsible for designing and managing all aspects of people operations, including hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, employee development, and culture implementation. This role requires strong emotional intelligence, eye for talent, and excellent communication skills.

Youll work closely with executives to define role competencies, scout for key talent, and manage career plans, while providing strategic input to support the companys growth.

You will establish and lead the HR department as we scale up, with the unique opportunity to build it from the ground up and shape a vital function in a rapidly growing company.

Key Responsibilities

Hiring

  • Organize and manage the hiring process.
  • Develop roles and job descriptions, in collaboration with executives.
  • Post job openings, review candidates' profiles and track progress.
  • Conduct job interviews.
  • Assess cultural alignment.
  • Negotiate terms and contracts.

Talent development:

  • Oversee the onboarding process.
  • Systematize and update training programs.
  • Track skill acquisition and development.
  • Refine performance review systems.
  • Communicate feedback and variable compensation updates.
  • Support career planning and development for employees.
  • Participate in competency evaluations and provide input on internal talent identification.
  • Handle employee offboarding.

Culture:

  • Keep everyone connected and aligned with company culture.
  • Lead initiatives to embed company culture across the organization.
  • Organize team-building activities.
