About the Role

The ideal candidate has deep understanding and interest in sustainable building materials and experience in the building materials sector. This role will design and implement innovative building facades using sustainable materials, including energy-generating solutions. This role requires creativity, technical proficiency, and a commitment to sustainability in architectural design.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop building facades with a focus on incorporating new, energy-generating, and sustainable materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product experts, engineers, and external stakeholders (architects, real estate developers) to integrate innovative solutions into building designs.
• Create detailed architectural drawings and models using Revit, CAD, and SketchUp, ensuring designs meet client specifications, sustainability goals, and industry standards.
• Evaluate the structural feasibility, aesthetic appeal, and energy efficiency of facade designs, incorporating both form and function into the projects.
• Work closely with the product development team to understand the capabilities and limitations of new materials and integrate them effectively into architectural designs.
• Solve complex design and technical challenges in facade construction, ensuring compliance with building codes and environmental regulations.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in sustainable architecture, green building technologies, and materials.
• Present designs and proposals to clients, stakeholders, and project teams, adjusting designs based on feedback and project requirements.
• Lead or contribute to projects from concept through to completion, ensuring quality and innovation at every stage of the design process.
