You'll identify (new) business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the customer business grow in your territory in line with company objectives and policies. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong partnerships with your customers. You are eager to help your customers solving their business problems & needs, with Service and Business Solutions. Gain the customer’s commitment to act and regularly evaluate plans and adjusts if necessary. Encouraging more lenses on more eyes by being meaningful & adding value as a Business Partner. Energetic and dedicated to apply and execute the sales strategy in your territory. By use of effective territory & customer business planning, thorough preparation, and relationship building, achieve annual territory sales target and personal performance objectives.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

  • Develops and executes business plans that leverage CVI’s and customers assets to deliver joint value for both parties. Building a good working relationship, keeping relevant people informed of progress and demonstrates the importance of buy-in of decision makers and stakeholders. Providing staff training and demonstrating Customer Journey Planning.
  • Prioritises and targets opportunities which generate the greatest value for both customer and CVI. A central point of contact, building advocacy throughout the practice or group and flexing personal style to create alignment and overcome objections.
  • Measuring performance against sales target and KPI’s. Completing all reporting and admin tasks on time and complete to ensure all knowledge is shared for the company benefit.
  • Sales execution of all customers within the defined territory providing a principle point of contact for CooperVision with the overall objective of achieving long term, year on year sales & category growth.
  • Ensure outstanding knowledge of CooperVision’s products, clinical and technical information, product strategy, market and commercial positioning and brand messages to assist customers in selecting those best suited to their needs. In support with the Professional Services team improve clinical knowledge of retail staff and build category growth loyalty.
  • To drive selling in of strategies, products, and campaigns by being able to anticipate the customer’s needs.
  • Lead the development of partnerships by consultative selling
  • To service the customer base of the company and liaise with local Customer Service (buddy way of working) to ensure service levels are both maintained and acceptable to the account.
  • Day to day management of the territory, designated customers and CooperVision’s products and services.
  • To develop and introduce new products on behalf of the Company to maximize the opportunities presented.
  • To represent CooperVision at seminars, exhibitions and meetings as required to enhance the customer experience when interacting with CooperVision’s team members.

  • Ability to work with Salesforce.com.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Fluent Dutch orally and written, good knowledge of English.
  • Profound knowledge of MS Office pack, preferable is Showpad knowledge.


Qualifications

Work Environment:

  • Extensive travel within territory and occasional international travel.
  • Remote working.


Experience:

  • Min. 1-3 years of professional sales experience preferably in the medical devices industry, FMCG & demonstrable knowledge of Retail.
  • Experience in the vision care category or a similar B2B2C environment would be a plus.
  • Demonstrable experience in defining and achieving sales results through Customer Business Planning, Insight to Actions, Consultative Selling, Negotiation and Category Leadership preferable.
  • Proven track record of successful territories sales plan initiatives
  • Experience in communication methods (incl. virtual engagement) and technology.
