About the Position:

The Senior Functional Lead at Object Edge aims to bridge the gap between our customers' needs and our tech solutions. They will dig deep to understand our client's business requirements, ask insightful questions, and put all of this into clear documentation. They will then work with a team to get all the relevant configurations done, and articulate to their tech colleagues what functionalities will require APEX coding.

They need to understand how enterprise technologies work together and how they can help business processes and solve problems.

It’s crucial that this person can

  • Clearly document/articulate the problem statements, business needs, and process flows in software such as Word or PowerPoint so that everyone can easily understand them.
  • Be able to configure any of the functional requirements (that don’t require code) themselves.


Location: Remote

What You’ll Do:

  • Project Clarity: Ensure that 100% of projects have clearly defined and documented business requirements, functional specifications, and problem statements, facilitating shared understanding among all stakeholders.
  • Business Process Decomposition: Successfully decomposes and documents business processes for all relevant projects within the first 4-6 weeks of project initiation, ensuring a thorough understanding of the client's needs and challenges.
  • Project Configuration: Be able to configure any and all configurations required in the relevant SF cloud environment to meet the documented requirements.
  • Responsible for getting all project configuration done, both by doing the configurations and leading a team of L2/L1
  • Contribute to the project plan with estimation of configuration stories
  • Client Satisfaction: Achieve an average client satisfaction score of 95% or above, reflecting the quality, clarity, and usefulness of the business analysis provided.
  • Collaboration with Tech Teams: Foster effective collaboration with the Salesforce, Oracle, and/or Data implementation teams, with feedback indicating a 95% or higher satisfaction rate with the quality of business requirements and problem statements provided.
  • Salesforce Certification.
  • Solution architecture: A Senior FL should also assess if the solution architecture or detailed tech design provided by the implementation team can meet the requirements. A level of technical acumen is expected.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly (at least quarterly) provide insights and recommendations for improvements in processes and methodologies based on client feedback and project outcomes, contributing to the continuous improvement culture of Object Edge.

Compensation:

Salary is commensurate with experience based on department and role.
