JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing and implementing data-driven marketing campaign statistical models, including response, risk, attrition and volume predictive models.
  • Managing the deployment and performance of modeling efforts, monitoring the performance of implemented model, creating and maintaining timely and accurate model performance reports to ensure the models perform as expected or are adjusted to maintain quality and performance.
  • Developing customer and prospect segmentation and profiling using transactional, credit, demographic, lifestyle, and other data sources.
  • Utilizing advanced statistical, data mining, AI/ML and quantitative tools and techniques to identify actionable business opportunities (e.g. cross-sell, up-sell, retention and acquisition), translate business units needs into actionable business strategy, improve targeting and delivery of products and services to customers.
  • Integrating the business needs of marketing personnel and other customer intelligence associates with evidence-based insights to ensure use and execution of results of statistical analyses.
  • Working across internal departments to identify and develop opportunities for process monitoring and automation, enhancing overall quality and efficiency of product delivery.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of industry & market trends and analytics techniques & products including working with outside data and service vendors to identify and evaluate data source and technical opportunities and quantifying their values to business.
  • Other duties may be assigned on an ad-hoc basis.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1 - 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combined education & experience.
  • Strong usage and programming skills in relevant software packages and programming languages including, but not limited to Python (must), Alteryx and R.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with highly imbalanced data sets.
  • Experience in marketing attribution, media mix modeling and in-market experimentation.
