We provide training and shared services to our central-Minnesota members. Throughout North America, we offer a cooperative purchasing program with over 200 awarded vendors on contract. On behalf of our 50,000 members, Sourcewell conducts competitive solicitations, awarding to the most responsive and responsible vendors at the manufacturer level. Members can purchase off these contracts through their local dealers, streamlining the procurement process. This position is responsible for generating revenue by representing Sourcewell’s enterprise solutions. This position will utilize a relational approach to establish and differentiate themselves as a trusted advisor. This position will also represent Sourcewell at industry tradeshows, conferences, and networking events, and implement strategies to increase use of Sourcewell’s enterprise solutions.
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist Account Executives with a regional strategic plan to achieve or exceed goals for assigned accounts.
Assist the Account Executive team by researching and qualifying new leads, and nurture existing leads.
Collaborates with the Account Executive team to identify potential leads for new opportunities and schedule meetings on behalf of the assigned account executive team members.
Research and understanding of enterprise solutions and be familiar with their function and purpose to expand awareness of compatible contracts, products, or services.
Accurately document participants' interactions, concerns, and resolutions in Salesforce to track and analyze trends, feedback, and to manage sales opportunities.
Research and have a basic understanding of government structure and legal requirements of assigned region as it relates to positioning Sourcewell's solutions.
Communicate regularly with participating agencies.
Complete outbound calls with new participating users of assigned accounts to understand their needs and provide an overview of Sourcewell solutions.
Respond to phone, email, and chat inquiries in accordance with service level delivery standards.
Communicate with participating users to understand their needs and make account updates within Salesforce.
Coordinate flow of amendments or other documentation necessary for participating agencies to effectively use a Sourcewell contract or solution.
Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and expand professional connections.
Serve as a co-presenter and assist Account Executives with presentations at industry tradeshows and conferences.
Facilitate training or product demonstrations for assigned accounts virtually and in person.
Coordinate the flow of amendments or other documentation necessary for participating agencies to effectively use a Sourcewell solution.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts for the Account Representative team.
Provide technical expertise, application administration, and training on Salesforce and other account related systems to the team.
Participate in the development of standard work instructions, policies, and procedures related to the position.

Additional Job Description:
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree in a relevant field AND one (1) year of experience in sales management, P&L management, business development, account management, client relations/development, or other directly related experience,
OR
A combination of related post-secondary and/or professional education/training and demonstrated relevant work experience equivalent to a total of three (3) years.
Experience working in a business environment.
Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
Experience serving internal or external customers
Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) or more years of experience in sales management, P&L management, business development, account management, client relations/development, or other directly related experience.

On occasion may be expected to attend meetings or trainings at Sourcewell's headquarters in Staples, MN, advance notice would be given to team member.
Occasional travel may be required.
