Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Specialist to join our team and support our Workday system with a focus on Time, Absence, Integrations, and Benefits modules. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise in Workday and will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our Workday setup to ensure efficient operations. This role involves working closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to drive successful Workday implementations and enhancements.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Workday Time and Absence Management:
    Manage the configuration and optimization of Time Tracking and Absence Management modules, ensuring policies and processes align with business requirements.

  • Benefits Administration:
    Oversee the configuration and management of Workday Benefits, including setup, enrollments, open enrollments, life events, and integration with third-party benefits providers.

  • System Integration:
    Develop, configure, and manage integrations between Workday and other internal and external systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure seamless data flow.

  • Process Improvements:
    Identify and recommend process improvements for time tracking, absence, and benefits administration using Workday functionalities.

  • Configuration and Testing:
    Support the configuration of Workday modules and ensure thorough testing of any changes to ensure smooth implementations. Perform regular system updates and enhancements.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure Workday solutions meet business needs.

  • Training and Support:
    Provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to HR and end-users. Assist with troubleshooting issues and responding to system-related inquiries.


Qualifications:
  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • Proven experience with Workday implementation and management, specifically in Time, Absence, Integrations, and Benefits modules.
    • Strong background in Workday Integration development and troubleshooting, including experience with Workday Studio, EIBs, and Core Connectors.
    • Expertise in configuring and managing Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management modules.
    • Hands-on experience with Benefits Administration within Workday.
  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in system configuration and troubleshooting.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into business-friendly language.
    • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Workday certification in Time, Absence, or Benefits modules.
    • Experience in a multi-national organization or large-scale Workday implementation.
