Schedule: Full-Time, 30-40 hours a week Flexible schedule

Benefits:  Fully remote position, 40 hours annually, Paid Time Off,  2 Days Off

Salary / Rate: $6.00 to $8.00 per hour

Job Summary

Nao Medical is seeking a proactive and experienced IT Specialist to lead our technology operations and strategies remotely. This role involves overseeing our IT infrastructure, enhancing system security, and ensuring seamless communication with vendors and internal teams. Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute IT strategies that align with the organization's business goals. Lead IT planning and budgeting processes to ensure resources are available to meet these goals.

  2. Vendor Management: Maintain robust communication channels with software and hardware vendors to ensure the timely delivery of services and solutions.

  3. IT Rollouts: Manage the deployment of new IT systems and updates across the organization. Ensure that all employees are briefed on changes and trained appropriately.

  4. Network Security Monitoring: Oversee the security of information, network access, and backup systems. Identify vulnerabilities and implement security patches and upgrades to protect company data.

  5. Support and Tickets: Manage the IT support team to resolve internal support tickets efficiently. Ensure that all IT issues are addressed promptly and to the satisfaction of end users.


Requirements

  • Reliable wired internet connection with a speed of at least 100 Mbps.

  • Computer/laptop with a minimum of Intel Core i3 processor or equivalent. Having a dual screen for increased productivity is a plus.

  • Operating system: Windows 10 or macOS (latest version) with regular updates.

  • RAM: Minimum 4 GB, preferably 8 GB or more for smoother multitasking.

  • Hard drive: At least 128 GB of free storage space for software and data.

  • Functioning webcam and microphone for clear communication.

  • Updated antivirus software to ensure data security and protection against cyber threats. Having a VPN is preferred but not required.

  • Reliable backup systems for electricity and internet outages in place.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT management, including experience with IT strategy, network security, and vendor management.

  • Strong understanding of IT systems, cloud services, and network management.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Experience leading a team of professionals.

  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in managing projects remotely.

  • Proficiency with SQL and IBM Cognos is a plus
