What you'll do
We are looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join our thriving team, supporting the People Operations team. As a key part of our broader People Operations team, this individual will work across HR to provide a consistent and excellent experience to our candidates and employees. In this role, you will have a direct impact on our employees & experience at Docusign.
This position is an individual contributor reporting to Manager, People Operations EMEA and is designated Remote.
Responsibilities
- Administer key HR processes such as onboarding: new hire orientation, employee changes, promotions, terminations and offboarding
- Assist with employee pre-hire processes, including but not limited to contracts of employment, background checks, new hire paperwork and work authorization documentation
- Audit employee changes in HRIS system including but not limited to hiring, termination, promotions, data changes, leave of absence
- Administer employment contracts in both English and Arabic
- Create and maintain physical onsite and electronic employee files
- Respond to general HR inquiries regarding but not limited to HR policies, benefits, employee data, employment verifications and systems
- Provide support for hosting employee events including benefit information webinars, on-site presentations, and on-site visitor and vendor interactions
- Manage employee leave of absence requests, including but not limited to maternity leave, paternity leave, adoption leave etc
- Collaborate with Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, HRBPs, IT and other collaborators as needed
- Create and maintain process documentation
- Administer all statutory regulatory HR documentation and reporting requirements for Egypt, including but not limited to, timely coordination with the local Social Insurance office for enrollment and dis-enrollment of employees
- Represent HR for government onsite audits as needed
Job Designation
Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.
Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. Preferred job designations are not guaranteed when changing positions within Docusign. Docusign reserves the right to change a position's job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.
What you bring
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field
- 2+ years of HR or Recruiting related work experience in a high growth organization
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both verbal and written communication
- Experience with Workday or other HCM Systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Experience with ServiceNow HR Ticketing system
- Expert in G-Suite (including Google Slides, Google Sheets, excel, Word etc)
- Familiarity with India employment requirements, policy, and procedures
- Solid attention to details and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think outside of the box and work in a fast paced, high transaction volume, shifting, non-structured environment
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion, maintaining confidentiality when required
- Self-directed problem solver with a desire to contribute to the organization and departments success
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
