Job summary

Supports the integration and efficiency of IT devices and application. Providing assistance to staff, teachers and students for the installation, configuration, and help desk for all IT devices (PC, projectors, audio, printers, etc.). Provides assistance for technical issues related to BlackBoard platform for hybrid courses.

Key purpose of the role

Didactic Support – Guarantees daily support to the faculty, intervening on teachers' calls, on the malfunctioning of the classroom devices or services in order to guarantee that lessons can be conducted without any technical problems.

HelpDesk Provides daily support for computer network users ensuring that the company’s computer network is running smoothly and efficiently. Supports users and solves their technical problems by answering calls and e-mails. Provides assistance for technical issues related to BlackBoard platform for hybrid courses, by offering support at level 1. Works with corporate in case of complex cases of Level 2.

Maintenance - Carries out the annual maintenance plan, updating the versions of all the classroom programs. Prepares and replaces staff workstations, ensures the installation, set up and maintenance of printers and of the equipment.

IT Innovation and Efficiency – Under the indications of the Line Manager, researches and proposes innovative and efficient solutions, which improve services and reduce assistance interventions during teaching activities.

IT Developer – following the indications of the IT Manager and IT System Administrator, verifies and develops and, if necessary, implements technical solutions in order to integrate systems, creates automatic flows with different programming/ scripting languages.
