Smatched is a fast-growing startup that revolutionizes the way non-profits run their Google ads campaigns

Smatched empowers non-profits to unlock new donors from a previously untapped user base by allowing website or app users to earn their way to the products, services or content that the business provides.

Tasks

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to set up, run and optimize Google ad campaigns for our partners in the non-profit space. As a Google Ads intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of paid media campaigns. You will play an integral role in executing PPC strategies across various online platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of paid media campaigns, including search engine marketing (SEM), display advertising, social media advertising, and other digital advertising channels.
  • Conduct research to identify target audience segments, keywords, and trends that align with our marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling ad copy and creative assets for campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance data, providing regular reports and insights on key metrics, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in managing budgets and bidding strategies to maximize campaign effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and industry standards in paid media advertising.
  • Support the team in managing relationships with advertising platforms, agencies, and vendors.
  • Assist in testing new advertising strategies and tactics to drive continuous optimization and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, content, and analytics, to ensure cohesive and impactful marketing campaigns.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field) or recently graduated.
  • You will have knowledge of digital marketing concepts and have run Google Ads campaigns in the past
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience with digital advertising platforms or tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.
  • A passion for digital marketing and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
