Job description

My client is a leading maritime engineering firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Naval Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Naval Architect, you will be instrumental in designing and engineering innovative maritime vessels, collaborating with our team of experts to deliver complex projects.

Your Responsibilities:

Lead the development of vessel designs from initial concept through basic engineering stages.
Conduct inclination tests and stability calculations to ensure vessel safety and performance.
Design and implement various ship systems, including Ballast Water Treatment Systems.
Analyse vessel motion behaviour using advanced dynamic analysis software.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maritime industry.
Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD/BricsCAD, and specialized software like Optimoor and HECSTAB.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented approach.
