We are recruiting for a Senior Business Development Manager in our fulfilment team, you’ll manage some of our very largest and high-profile corporate accounts using our fulfilment network. You will take complete control of every aspect of the client, including commercial & contract negotiations, owning the client’s service levels, managing customer MBRs and QBRs, through to new product implementation and management of the account team.

This role is very high profile within Evri and you will be exposed to senior stakeholders.

You will be accountable for:


  • Management, retention and growth of Evri’s largest and high-profile fulfilment client portfolios
  • Manage the full end-to-end process with our customers, including robust contract management and rate negotiations, plus bringing through new volumes
  • Supporting with onboarding of new high-profile fulfilment clients in partnership with our new business sales team
  • Isolate and capitalise opportunities to drive service performance and enhance margins
  • Lead negotiation of the up / cross selling of our products and services
  • Maintain and manage cash-flow
  • Liaising with Operational Management to recommend workable solutions to service level recovery programmes and new initiatives (service improvement, corrective measures, ad-hoc solution design)
  • Analyse and implement change through our business and our customers’ business
  • Drive margin improvement through strong commercial acumen
  • Building solid relationships with internal and external senior stakeholders and directors
  • Share technical knowledge and coach more junior team members to enhance whole team capability to deliver for the business


You will work within a fast-moving and dynamic environment with a great team who have a really strong work ethos. The role will be based anywhere in the UK


To be successful in this role you will;

  • Full Driving licence (role may require significant travel, on occasion working unsociable hours),
  • Degree level educated advantageous but not essential
  • Previous experience in an account management or customer relationship management role managing large clients, preferably in a Senior BDM/Account Manager/Account Director role.
  • Retail/ecommerce/ logistics/parcel/technology background preferred
  • Possessing industry knowledge and experience of the B2C home shopping (desirable, not essential)
  • Experience of operational cost, commercial profitability and P&L
  • Experience of building annual budgets in line with business expectation
  • Strong presentation skills and business acumen
  • Experience of procurement and tender processes
  • Experience of holding and developing strategic client relationships
  • Ability to work with data and use it to produce client facing presentations and proposals
