Job description

Role Summary

Our Account Processor I will support small business owners and our team of plan administrators with obtaining information necessary to complete the annual testing requirements for 401(k) plans. A large part of this role is reviewing documents submitted by the clients and communicating with clients when more information is necessary. Collaborate with the plan administration and compliance teams to ensure annual 5500 filings are completed in a timely manner.

WORK SCHEDULE: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM Philippine Local Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

Essential Functions

  • Work with clients to obtain the necessary information to prepare annual reporting
  • Review documents submitted by clients for completeness and accuracy
  • Navigate large volumes of work with autonomy while also collaborating within your team and department to ensure an excellent client experience
  • Work with partner financial institutions/custodians to help facilitate client filings and retrieve client data
  • Send and receive documents via email with clients
  • Send outgoing emails to clients during the plan year reporting process
  • Be goal-driven and have the desire to exceed defined role expectations
  • Develop a basic understanding of retirement plans, specifically 401(k) Plans
  • Contribute to department and team projects
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in the related field preferred
  • Knowledge of retirement plans is an advantage
  • Experience in the financial sector is an advantage
  • Experience in handling successful client relationships
  • Solid background in customer service
  • Experience in data entry
  • Experience with multiple computer programs and systems
  • Meticulous with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Has a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Proven reliability in the workplace
