Job description

Role Summary

Our client is looking for a Technical Support Specialist, internally known as Operations Support Specialist who will be responsible for monitoring system alerts during shifts, responding promptly to issues, and executing appropriate actions based on a flowchart. This role involves basic troubleshooting and problem resolution.

WORK SCHEDULE: TBD – Pacific Daylight Time, follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

Essential Functions

  • Monitor system alerts and notifications during assigned overnight shifts
  • Follow established troubleshooting protocols to address issues
  • Execute problem-solving actions based on provided flowcharts
  • Restart systems or escalate issues to senior staff as needed
  • Maintain detailed logs of alerts and actions taken
  • Ensure all issues are resolved within the allotted time or escalated appropriately
  • Provide weekend coverage as needed

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in the related field
  • Previous experience in operations, dispatch, or customer support roles
  • Basic technical aptitude; prior experience with dashboards or similar systems is a plus
  • Experience working overnight shifts or in similar roles is an advantage but not required
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting systems and technology
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on execution
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
