Job description

Role Summary

Our HR Operations Manager will be a pillar in building our company’s culture, lead a high performing team, uphold integrity in our HR processes and ensure compliance to labor laws, and governance towards policies.

WORK SCHEDULE: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM Philippine Standard Time, follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

Essential Functions

  • Partner with management to build engaged and high-performing teams anchored in the company's culture and values
  • Represent the HR Operation function with Senior Leadership and heavily coordinate with Corporate Services Managers to develop, implement and manage KPIs and SLAs to drive a high performing culture and handle performance management processes
  • Handle on-boarding and off-boarding process for a seamless experience for all employees
  • Gather, analyze, and present key employee engagement metrics to help support the delivery of key initiatives and prepare reports for the management and key stakeholder
  • Drive a listening culture and build feedback mechanisms into employee engagement activities and internal communications
  • Lead and manage small- and large-scale key initiatives
  • Work closely with Corporate Services through active participation in enterprise-wide initiatives, projects, policies and procedures, and strategy
  • Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll
  • Lead and facilitate the continuous monitoring of regulatory compliance requirements, employee and local labor relations and associated codes of practice and integrate these developments into the employee handbook, policies and procedures, performance management, and training and development
  • Deliver high-level and non-routine professional advice and guidance to senior managers and employees on the interpretation of labor laws, policies and procedures, background investigations, accuracy of employee data, terms, and conditions of employment, etc.
  • Handle the full implementation of HRIS and ensure that business processes are aligned and optimized
  • Develop, review, and implement HR standard practices and policies and procedures
  • Follow the latest HR trends and best practices to build and streamline our processes, employee handbook, policies, procedures, etc.
  • Undertake ad hoc requirements and/or specific one-off activities

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
  • 10-12 years professional work experience in an MNC (multi-national corporation) or an organization with a global presence
  • Experience with organizational change management practices
  • Experience in a start-up and build to scale environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a high performing team
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding and experience working with multiple HR disciplines, such as employee relations, payroll practices, organizational diagnosis, performance management, labor laws, etc.
  • Excellent strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Has a very process oriented and agile mindset
  • Problem solver with customer focus
  • Has the ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast paced and evolving environment>Unquestionable integrity
  • Proficient in a broad variety of communication channels and current technologies (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Zoom, Canva, etc.)
  • High aptitude in data management, analytics, and reporting preparation
  • Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self- directed
