Tasks

What You Will Do

• Website Development: Develop fast, responsive, and accessible (bug-free) websites
• Copy + translate design mockups into pixel-perfect, functional web pages.
• We’re using CheckoutChamp for our websites / payment process (learning how to use and excel this tool
• User Experience Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize the user experience across all websites.
• Leverage tools like Clarity and Hotjar to understand user behavior, identify pain points, and pinpoint areas where users drop off.
• Implement data-driven improvements to enhance usability, engagement, and conversion rates.
• Bug Fixing and Maintenance: Regularly monitor websites for bugs, performance issues, and inconsistencies.
• Promptly investigate and resolve any reported problems. Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep the websites running smoothly and efficiently.
• Especially when it comes to the Checkout Pages + Payment Processing
• Responsive Design: Ensure all websites are fully responsive and optimized for a wide range of devices, including all mobile phones, desktop and tablets.
• Test websites across different browsers and screen sizes to guarantee a seamless user experience.
• User Journey Analysis: Deeply understand the user journey for each website.
• Use analytics tools to map out user flows, identify drop-off points, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with the team to optimize the user journey and create intuitive, compelling experiences.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize website performance.
• Minimize page load times, optimize images and assets, and implement caching strategies.
  
  

How To Communicate

• Our team operates on Slack for easy, efficient chatting between the team.
• High availability and on-demand responsiveness for emergency situations like bugs, user drop-offs, missing website properties or features.
• We’re working on a 6-day / week schedule and are also working on Sundays for emergencies
• This is a full-time position so you’re required to be always fully available and responsive for at least 40 hours per work.

• Full-Time Salary based on your skill level and experience

Additional Requirements

• If applicable (not required): Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field.
• Front End Web Development Certifications, JavaScript Certifications, Web Performance Optimization Certifications, User Experience (UX) Certifications
• Past Work Experience: Front End Developer, Full Stack Developer / UX/UI Developer, Web Performance Engineer / Digital Analytics Specialist
  
  

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development frameworks
• Experience with CheckoutChamp or similar website building tools
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser/device compatibility
• Skilled in optimizing websites for speed, performance and accessibility
• Familiarity with user behavior analytics tools (e.g., Clarity, Hotjar)
• Ability to analyze user journeys and implement data-driven improvements
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for bug fixing
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and staying current with industry trends
