Job description

Working As a Senior Data Engineer, You Will

  • Collaborate with customers to design, build, and maintain comprehensive data platforms, ensuring smooth data sourcing and availability for users
  • Take responsibility for orchestration, security, and user adoption of data solutions
  • Develop and design a reliable, user-friendly, and easily manageable data platform within a Microsoft ecosystem
  • Create efficient data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and/or Microsoft Fabric
  • Build powerful data models using Python, SQL, PySpark, or SparkSQL, handling complex tasks like dimensional modeling and normalization
  • Manage customer environments through Azure DevOps, ensuring smooth deployment processes and script management

Qualifications

  • Relevant professional experience in a similar position with a strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and/or Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Ability to efficiently process large datasets and develop corresponding solutions, with strong proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark, and SparkSQL.
  • Interest in the latest technological developments in the Microsoft ecosystem, including Fabric and Copilot, and a willingness to experiment with these technologies.
  • Experience in consulting and project management, with the ability to work in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment (e.g., Scrum) and knowledge of DevOps; familiarity with JIRA tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
