About the Job

As the Head of Sales, North America, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team within a specific geographic area to achieve sales targets and revenue growth. Your role will involve recruiting, training, and mentoring sales staff, developing and implementing strategic sales plans, and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners. You will monitors market trends, identifies new business opportunities, and ensures customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies with overall company objectives and reports on sales performance to senior leadership.


Salary Range: $230,000 - $245,000

Experience:

  • Requires deep managerial skills necessary for management responsibility, with broad knowledge of all areas of sales
  • Acts on management responsibilities: creates the future, builds a team, develops people, and manages performance
  • Requires strong industry knowledge: must have a thorough understanding of markets and sales opportunities for Taulia solutions in the region

Communication:

  • Builds and maintains strategic partnerships with key decision makers internally and within partner and customer organizations
  • Represents Taulia externally, ensuring understanding, trust, and open cooperation at all management levels through effective and appropriate communication
  • Optimizes communication style according to different stakeholders, situations, and media
  • Formulates clear management objectives and strategies, ensuring understanding
  • Proactively communicates constructive and/or critical feedback

Responsibilities

You will support the success of your direct reports AND the success of all sales employees within the region. You will report directly to the CSO and help line managers to identify development opportunities and support their team members to achieve their goals. You are expected to know about the members of your extended team and share insights with your peer managers; look for opportunities to coach and recognize employees directly and proactively provide feedback so that employees can reflect on your input immediately.

  • Build and lead a world-class team to support Taulia's revenue, market penetration and growth strategies
  • Align vision and execution strategy with the CSO's goals
  • Provide thought leadership to address market needs, gain competitive advantage and develop new revenue streams
  • Maintain a network of C-level relationships across industries and with key partners to stay informed on business and sales issues, offering strategic advice to retain and grow business through integrated solutions
  • Stay current on market trends and sales campaigns, applying relevant strategies across the region
  • Support and represent Taulia at industry, sales, and media events
  • Support the development of strong customer references
  • Drive sales managers and their teams toward expected market penetration and customer/partner satisfaction levels
  • Inspire and influence internal stakeholders and external resources to remove obstacles and achieve goals
  • Ensure each sales manager meets quarterly and annual sales objectives
  • Facilitate alignment and effective communication within the sales team and with key partners/customers, resolving conflicts promptly
  • Promote individual growth and development of sales managers, setting objectives, performance standards, territories, priorities and coaching on sales approaches
  • Ensure disciplined sales methodology application across management groups, leading to consistent and accurately forecasted financial results
  • Manage team budget, ensuring expenses for salaries, promotional activities
  • Encourages outstanding execution track along sales cycle, ensuring Taulia's sales methodologies and common processes are in place and defines clear territory engagement guidelines

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required

  • Extensive experience in sales of in working capital management, SaaS, trade finance, treasury management or a similar industry
  • Experience as a Senior Manager in a team selling environment
  • Demonstrated success with complex, long-cycle sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive market
  • Demonstrate success negotiating complex contracts
  • Demonstrated knowledge on consultative selling methodologies
  • Proven abilities on managing highly complex organizations and applying risk-mitigation strategies to customer
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate a vision across lines of business
