Job description

hat is the role

Great software has the power to change the world. Great software opens new possibilities, new ways of thinking and new ways of looking at the world. Amazon, Google, Apple, Instagram, Facebook changed the way we think and interact and prioritize our time. What makes great software great is its ability to impact us as human beings. It can be a powerful force.

But writing great software is not just about writing code. In fact, code is only 10% of the value, 90% is about new thought process, new ways to interact with the world and new capabilities that world did not know it needed till it saw it and then could not live without anymore.

Solve.Care has the vision to make the world (especially healthcare) better through decentralized data, decentralized compute, self-sovereign identity, and rapid authoring of networked applications.

Our Enterprise Software is one of the very few people in the world who can create great software through proper design of the platform, data, entities transactions, security, infrastructure and performance. Only a great architect can design platforms that every human being on the planet can and will use.

Is that person you?

What the role is not

It is not just about another cloud application, website or mobile application, or about following the architecture that everyone is using to but will never achieve a global, open platform that will actually redefine healthcare and reimagine all healthcare relationships and processes.

If you understand that building a decentralized healthcare platform requires discipline, imagination, and ability to balance decentralized data and compute with need for compliance, and that we must achieve scalability without controlling the underlying infrastructure, then you should read on.

What you need to know

There are a rare few (the 0.001% among IT professionals) who understand that a platform like ours requires well architected roles and configurable relationships, data models, data custody, data ownership, personal and role specific privacy, immutable consent ledger and revocable access, well-defined interfaces between loosely coupled and properly encapsulated modules, scalability, and regional configurability!

Plus, our platform has the additional challenges of managing decentralized identity and data, immutability, tokenized events and data, configurability of processes, auditability of every action and reaction, legal admissibility, and globally distributed infrastructure.

Look, you won’t know everything you need to know. So here is what you must know and the rest we will teach you (but you must be able and willing to learn, and fast)

  1. Constant learning and thirst for knowledge
  2. Passion to change the world for the better
  3. Ability to architect platforms, mobile applications and Blockchains
  4. Commitment to documentation, communication, and comprehension
  5. Following the SDLC that emphasizes architecture, design, interfaces, modularity, configurability, and uniform data management. Note: Agile is not a process that works for platforms, at least not that we have ever seen. You will need to work with our SDLC that is based on modular, parallel development
  6. Disciplined development. Without discipline development quickly descends into chaos. By discipline we mean doing things on time, reviewing code per design, meeting deadlines (always) and never showing up unprepared.
  7. Understand that leading is not a popularity contest. You can’t aspire to be friends with your team. You must earn their respect and trust, not their affection. If it feels like we are describing marines, good, you got it.

What we will teach you

If you are our Enterprise Software Architect, you will spend a week 1-1 with the CEO, off-site. We will bring you up to date on the following.

  1. Business model
  2. Platform value proposition
  3. Platform capability model
  4. Platform design and architecture
  5. Use cases and client profiles
  6. Tokenization – what, why, how, for whom
  7. Decentralization – what, why, how, for whom
  8. Interoperability – what the heck it means and how to make it work
  9. Rules of behavior – You already know them if “fighting like Spartans” is familiar

Who are we?

  • We are Solve.Care and we dare to think different and dare to do different
  • We are building a healthcare platform of the kind world has never seen before
  • We are doing this because we know healthcare better than most (especially the big boys)
  • We don’t just come to work, we strive to change the world
  • We know that even if we don’t succeed 100%, we will make a huge impact

Why should you come to work with us?

Because you don’t need just a job, you want a mission and purpose

Because you always knew deep inside that there is a big mission waiting for you

Because you are passionate about learning and growing past your boundaries

Because you think out of the box, and you never quite fit in with the crowd

Because you can imagine the world how it should be and not accept status quo

Because you believe that our kids and parents deserve a better world

You always wanted to change the world? Well, it is not easy. You want to fix healthcare? Well, it is even harder. In fact, only a nut job thinks that is possible. We are those nut jobs. And we know exactly how to achieve it. And that is why you should come work for us.

Reach out and we will get back to you in 72 hours

So, the question is – are you sufficiently nutty to want this job? To lead others where no one has ever gone before (ahem… Star Trekkies die hard …) If you have the heart, experience, absolute clarity of vision, and ability to lead with iron clad discipline, then get in touch.

Send us your CV/resume/LinkedIn profile/homemade video and we will reply within 72 hours and if you are called to an interview, it will be directly with the CEO.
