Job description

At Vicoland, we give the professional services market a new dimension: Virtual Companies, in short: “Vicos”. We invented Vicos to allow freelancers to team up and act as if they were a real company, competing successfully for interesting, large SAP projects.

Our SaaS platform provides all the tech which enables the collaboration of Vicos and their clients plus a marketplace that matches them together.

Our Vicos are already transforming how digital projects are done - since our launch 1.5 years ago, we won project for several world-renowned clients and partners such as Netflix, Tupperware, the German Federal Government, Smart or Colliers. We were mentioned by Forbes and Forrester as the leading marketplace for freelance teams and are an official partner of SAP.

There are already over 600 Vicos on our platform, uniting thousands of freelancers. Our central team, to which you would belong, has 40 members and is located across Europe, expanding to the US. Our headquarters are in Frankfurt/Main.

Our offer to you

We are laser-focused on our growth and adding Vicos to our talent pool. Our core market is SAP services. Since the demand of our clients is rapidly growing, we need to scale the supply of Vicos. This is where you come in.

As Head of Talent Acquisition, your core responsibility will be to build up the supply of SAP Vicos and ensure that we scale the right talent for the right projects. You will be operating at the heart of our value proposition and directly be impacting top-line growth.

It’s a perfect growth opportunity for both you and Vicoland, an accelerator of your career and from which you’ll be able to benefit financially.

Tasks

  • You will lead the Vicoland Talent Acquisition team, where your core responsibility is to build a pool of excellent SAP Vicos that are the right fit for the demand side.
  • You will be responsible end-to-end for defining and implementing strategies to build SAP Vicos. You decide how – from marketing campaigns to peer-to-peer recruitment - It’s up to you.
  • You will actively source & manage candidates: Find, qualify and onboard them so they can build a winning Vico.
  • As we scale the demand side & attract more clients, you will need to expand your team to provide for rising Vico demand. You will hire and manage your own team.
  • This is a people business – you will interact and communicate daily with a broad range of experts. You will constantly talk to people, so you need to be a good communicator.
  • You will build the Vico community. You will engage and motivate our Vicos to be active members of our community. We call this “mentalisation”. Mentalised Vicos are critical success for upselling with clients and our growth.
  • You will co-define and be responsible for a set of OKRs that you drive forward, letting you directly impact Vicoland’s growth trajectory

Requirements

You have a good understanding of the overall SAP portfolio, such as SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, and SAP Signavio? Great, because experience with SAP projects is a requirement. You bring 4-6 years in professional experience in SAP services (any of the following or similar: SAP consulting, employee of SAP, SAP implementation & delivery, SAP agency or SAP sourcing company)
  • University or Technical University degree with good or very good results.
  • Excellent communication skills since you’ll have to interact with a lot of people on a daily basis. You’re not afraid to pick up the phone and talk to someone.
  • Sound jugdment when it comes to evaluating people.
  • Fluent in German (at least C2 level) and English.

Benefits

  • Fast-paced environment where you'll learn a lot very soon – because you'll have to.
  • Real, immediately visible impact on company results and on your own personal growth trajectory, incl. exciting career perspective with direct perspective to take over a Head of Department role
  • Competitive compensation plus participation in ESOP (Employee Stock Option Plan), so that you can co-own the company you work for.
  • Working with a highly talented team with diverse backgrounds and top-notch qualifications.
  • Possibility to work from where you want when you want, remotely or in one of our offices (Barcelona, Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Seville).

Do you think: "This is just me and this is what I would have dreamt of if I had known it"? If yes, we look forward to your application and to getting to know you soon!
