This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting a federal agency. This position can be located remotely anywhere in the U.S.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Word)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Work with and customize a COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) Product:
- Ability to customize and configure the Eagle Investment Accounting System Trust to align with client workflows, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and processes.
- Work with multiple cross-functional and interfacing teams to implement, configure, and support the Eagle software which has been tailored to business client needs and requirements.
- Ability to collaborate with vendors (e.g. Meetings, Email, Vendor Portal) for product updates/upgrades, issue resolution, and issue/support escalation processes.
- Management of the deployment, testing, and maintenance of the Eagle solution while ensuring optimal performance and stability.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, customizations, and detailed reporting on all performance, issues, and improvements related to the Eagle solution.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Eagle features, updates, and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with system integration methods and data migration techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to Eagle.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with software lifecycle processes – Development, Testing, Deployment, Maintenance, etc.

- Develop Advanced reports written with ActiveReports 3rdparty:
- Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze report requirements to ensure business needs are met.
- Strong SQL skills for querying databases, as well as experience integrating reports with various data sources.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with report generation and performance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Oracle Database Administration (DBA) tasks using Toad:

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
- Experience with the Eagle Investment Accounting Software
- Ability to plan, coordinate and execute the deployment of software code to Production and Non-Production environments.
- Work closely with internal team, vendors, and business users to ensure smooth and efficient code deployments.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues, identify root causes, and provide timely resolutions.
- Document deployment procedures and ensure code deployments comply with security and performance standards.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and cloud-based deployment environments.
- Ability to provide training and support to end-users on new developed and existing financial reports, newly developed and existing macros, and on general Eagle functionality.
- Proven experience in macro development using VBA (Visual Basics for Applications) or other scripting languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript)
- Strong understanding of data manipulation, spreadsheet formulas, and software automation techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex macros and provide effective solutions to end users.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and stakeholders.
- Experience working in a DevOps environment with continuous integration/continuous delivery practices.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,800.00 - $168,900.00.
