Responsibilities
The Salesforce Product Owner will work with cross-organizational teams such as Order Management, Sales Accounting, Sales Operations, Order Management Optimization, Product Administration, Data Stewards, Cloud Operations, and Financial Planning & Analysis to maintain and improve back-office processes within Salesforce. The Product Owner will be responsible for the backlog for the Salesforce Back Office Team that customizes the Conga CPQ (Configure Price Quote) and custom LTM (License Tracking & Management) apps in Salesforce. The individual will work with these stakeholders to determine their business needs and translate those into a product roadmap and backlog for the team. The individual will work with team members and stakeholders located in the US and internationally.
Technologies include Salesforce Classic and Lightning, Conga CPQ, Salesforce Knowledge, Skuid, and Salesforce CRM Analytics. The individual will contribute to cross-organizational roadmap and backlog management using enterprise tools, including Salesforce Agile Accelerator and Monday.com.
Responsibilities
- Work with Product Manager and various stakeholders to define a realistic project roadmap
- Communicate roadmap, risks, and status to the Product Manager and various stakeholders
- Work with Business Analysts to understand business requirements
- Define and prioritize epics and break epics down into stories and acceptance criteria
- Manage and prioritize a backlog of stories
- Coordinate team backlog reviews, sprint planning, and sprint demos
- Work with the Product Manager and team to coordinate project, release, and UAT activities
Education / Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an Agile Product Owner using Scrum processes in a DevOps culture
- Experience working with large and complex products
- Experience working with stakeholders to define a realistic product and/or project roadmap
- Experience communicating roadmap, risks, and status to stakeholders
- Experience planning work to maximizing value delivery
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Background working with internal end users and processes in order management, accounting, sales, and similar business functions
- Experience with Agile Project Management
- Scrum certification for product ownership
- Experience with the following technologies: Salesforce Classic and Lightning, Conga CPQ, Salesforce Knowledge, Skuid, and Salesforce CRM Analytics
Education
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field with 3+ years of experience is required.
