Job description

Want to make a difference to someone's life every day? Read on! It could change your work-life forever!

Our home care service is one of just 4% in England, rated as "Outstanding" and our Caregivers support adults in their own homes, working between 16 and 40 hours each week.

We work with you to fit around your life commitments. Some of our highly trained team had no formal care experience before, and say Caregiving is just not like an everyday job, it's so rewarding!

Whether or not you have experience of caring, you 'shadow' experienced Caregivers and are introduced to regular clients. Visits are not rushed, and are a minimum of one hour.

Our inspector wrote this about Right at Home Ipswich: "People were at the very heart of the service ... The philosophy and values were shared across the team ...One staff member said, "The training is superb."

We currently require caring individuals with morning availability plus some availability every other weekend or a few evenings. Some of our team work every weekend by choice, or evenings only, or a combination. It's up to you. This role covers Woodbridge, Melton and Kesgrave.

We support clients with companionship, personal care, meal preparation, shopping trips, appointments, medication etc. We are a non-medical service.

The hourly salary is £15.00 per hour minimum. Bank holidays are paid at premium rate. In addition, we pay mileage between clients.

Formal care experience is not required as we offer comprehensive training at our Ipswich office. We also offer ongoing support to ensure that you are confident in the role.

What we offer our Caregivers:

· Regular clients who you get to know well

· Premium hourly rates and additional mileage

· Access to high-quality training and ongoing support

· Progression and qualifications to develop a career

· A Company that listens, values, and appreciates what you do

· The opportunity to be a caring professional with a company you're proud to be part of.

Duties include:

· Companionship

· Personal care

· Food preparation

· Shopping

· Light housekeeping

· Accompanying clients to appointments or outings

Requirements:

· Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle

· Have a genuine desire to make a difference

· Be a reliable people-person

Whether you have experience or not, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply including retail, NHS, Hairdressing, beauty and driving.
