What You’ll Do:
Auto Approve brings in all the leads, quote requests, and phone calls. All our customers contact us to save money on their auto loan. As a Loan Consultant (LC), you will be handling only warm leads and will not have to do any prospecting and/or cold calling. Auto Approve ensures that LCs are set up for success with a robust paid training program lead by Andy Lam, Auto Approve's Sales Enablement Manager. This role is Base Salary + Commission, and our top Loan Consultant earned >$100,000 last year by helping customers refinance their cars.
The Loan Consultant is responsible for following up with our customer leads and facilitating the communication between the potential customer and the lending institution. The LC provides the customer with refinancing options, informs the customer about additional ancillary auto protection products we offer, and collects the necessary documentation to fund the loan.
The role’s day-to-day duties include (but are not limited to):
- Following up on all warm leads via telephone, text messaging, and e-mail communication and averaging 5+ hours of talk time daily
- Interviewing and verifying customer provided information
- Assisting customers by facilitating their auto loan refinance with our lending partners
- Selling the refinance options, along with GAP and Warranty
- Meeting pre-determined goals established by management
What You’ll Need:
- 2 + years of experience in a sales-based and/or or metrics-driven work environment required.
- Ability to be on the phone for 5+ hours daily required.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Experience in call centers, credit unions, collections, and/or retail preferred.
- Proven success meeting or exceeding metrics while working remotely preferred.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are variable and based on business need. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Physical Requirements: This position is indoors. Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period. May be asked to lift approximately 25 lbs. Exposure to moderate noise and light, i.e business office with computers, phone, printers, light foot traffic.
