Job description

SEO/SEM Consultant 

We are looking for an experienced SEO/SEM Expert to manage all search engine optimization and marketing activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing SEO and SEM strategies to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and maximize ROI on paid search campaigns. You will collaborate closely with our marketing and content teams to ensure alignment between SEO efforts and broader marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic to our website.
  • Manage all aspects of SEM campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.), including keyword research, bid management, ad copywriting, and performance analysis.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Optimize website content, landing pages, and technical SEO to improve user experience and search engine performance.
  • Monitor and analyze SEO and SEM metrics, providing insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO and SEM.
  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure content is optimized for SEO, including keyword usage, internal linking, and meta tags.
  • Manage budgets for SEM campaigns, ensuring cost-efficiency and achieving target ROI.
  • Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to continuously improve performance.
  • Provide regular reports on SEO/SEM performance, including key metrics like traffic, rankings, conversions, and ad performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an SEO/SEM expert or similar role.
  • In-depth understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other paid search platforms.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of on-page and off-page SEO practices.
  • Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and user experience design.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and metrics.
  • Solid understanding of HTML/CSS as it relates to SEO.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with local SEO, mobile optimization, and eCommerce SEO.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, or similar.
  • Knowledge of social media advertising and email marketing strategies.
  • Google Ads or other relevant certifications are a plus.
