What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate on AI-driven projects, working alongside engineers, product managers and AI specialists
• Develop and maintain scalable APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask
• Integrate with and manage cloud services, particularly on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Design, develop and optimise data pipelines
• Work with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and ensure efficient data management
• Contribute to GenAI initiatives and have the opportunity to build skills
• Communicate clearly and effectively across teams, ensuring alignment on project goals

What We’re Looking For:

• Good understanding of the Python standard library and modern Python coding, testing, debugging and automation techniques
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong experience with API design and frameworks like FastAPI or Flask
• Knowledge of databases such as SQL and NoSQL
• Interest in expanding your knowledge into AI and machine learning
• Great communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment

Nice to have:

• Experience or knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience or knowledge of BigQuery and Cloud SQL
• Knowledge of Machine Learning
