What’s In for You

As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will be part of an Agile / Scrum squad developing the Vimachem OptimZ Platform. This is a role where you develop new applications from scratch; if this excites you, this is the place to be. You will also work closely with the Senior Developers, Testers, Engineering Manager and the CTO in deciding the architecture and technology stack.

• You build things. You’ve built something from the ground up with the expectation that it will last.
• You can communicate as well as you can code. You understand the value of discussion and work best in a team that champions clear and frequent communication.
• You’re a self-starter. You’re proud of the work that you do and you’re always looking for ways to make the output of it better.
• You’re eager to learn. You’re excited and capable of learning about new technologies that are both internal and external to Vimachem.
• You design for the user. Your interfaces are clean, clear, and concise.

What skills do I need?

• You’ve done this before. You’ve been building web applications for at least 3 years.
• You know your way around the browser. You understand the difference between Babel and Webpack, and you have built your fair share of Angular components.
• Ideally you’ve used two or three of the technologies that we use. These include Angular, NGRX, RxJS, Highcharts, Bootstrap, JavaScript, TypeScript, .NET Core MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• You work well in a team. You’ll be joining a team of engineers, designers, and product people.
