The primary purpose of this role is apply motor assessing policies and procedures to ensure the best practicable repair cost, customer service and compliance outcomes are achieved.

 

You'll be responsible for:

  • Deliver best practicable assessment outcome, in either repair cost or total loss (i.e. Closed File Reviews, Open File Reviews etc.).
  • Comply with motor assessing process, guidelines, allowances. parts policy, severity coding requirements and repairer standards.
  • Wherever appropriate, apply repair cost benchmarking, alternative parts reporting and scorecards to improve repairer performance.
  • Contribute to improving the customer service  of Selected and non-Selected repairers.
  • Provide customers with access to the prompt resolution of complaints, including repair warranty, service related and other issues.

 

About you:

  • Current Trade Qualification licence within the motor vehicle repair industry.
  • Experience in repair shop management / estimating and in motor vehicle assessing practices and in the provision of damaged vehicle quotations.
  • A current driver's license.
  • Knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Insurer and Repair Industry Code of Conduct.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
