Advocate aims to reduce long wait times and bureaucratic obstacles of the current government benefits application process by developing a unified intake system for the Social Security Administration, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, crossed with the knowledge and experience of our small team of EDPNA’s and case managers. 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Go-To-Market Manager with a strong focus on B2C SaaS strategies. In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing our go-to-market plans for new features, subscription tiers, and user segments. You will manage media buyers to optimize paid advertising efforts and lead initiatives to acquire new claimants, drive user adoption, and enhance customer journeys. Job Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new features, subscription tiers, and user segments to achieve our goal of acquiring 4,000 contracted claimants by the end of 2024. Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure seamless product launches and updates.
  • Growth and User Acquisition: Conduct user research and analyze customer journeys to identify opportunities for improvement. Drive user adoption and engagement through targeted campaigns and personalized onboarding experiences. Experiment with growth hacking techniques and technologies to drive exponential user growth.
  • Media Buying & Advertising: Manage media buyers to optimize paid advertising strategies across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Allocate budgets effectively and maximize ROI on advertising spend. Implement retargeting strategies to continuously improve ad performance.
  • SEO & Content Marketing: Define clear SEO objectives to establish Advocate as a knowledge leader in federal benefits access. Develop a content calendar featuring high-quality blog posts, guides, and videos. Optimize website content and structure to enhance organic search visibility.
  • Product Marketing: Implement personalized SMS/email campaigns using marketing automation tools like Front or Braze. Segment audiences and optimize communication workflows for better engagement and reduced drop-offs.
  • Innovative Tools Development: Lead the creation of user-friendly tools (e.g., benefits calculators) to attract and engage users. Integrate data capture mechanisms to improve conversion rates and support follow-up marketing.
  • Community & Referral Programs: Design and launch referral programs that ethically incentivize claimants to refer others. Engage with potential claimants in online forums and social media groups related to federal benefits.
  • Analytics & Optimization: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across all marketing channels. Regularly review campaign performance and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights. Report key metrics to leadership with actionable recommendations.
  • Team Building: As we grow, help build and lead a high-performing growth marketing team. Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Minimum of 5+ years in growth marketing or go-to-market roles at early-stage B2C SaaS companies.
  • Proven track record of scaling user acquisition and achieving ambitious growth targets.
  • Experience managing media buyers and optimizing paid advertising efforts.
  • Strong understanding of user acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies.
  • Expertise in SEO, content marketing, online advertising, and marketing automation tools.
  • Proficiency with analytics and CRM tools like Google Analytics and Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in A/B testing and optimization.
