The Job

The Specialist will support all aspects of the Medicare Advantage product portfolio including bid submission, data mining projects and the creation of the regulatory materials and mailings. The specialist will recommend solutions and deliver the appropriate tactics within schedule and budget. This includes overseeing a variety of projects and initiatives from concept to completion.

 

You Will

Support quality control activities related to the Annual Regulatory Mailings, the Annual Bid Submission, benefits and bid documentation, other processes performed by the Product Development Team

Perform annual bid filing entries with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for upcoming plan benefits offering.

Support regular competitor and market analysis as needed, including: data gathering and analysis of provider networks to identify strengths and weaknesses, assessment of benefit offerings and premiums, assessment of enrollment trends and product penetration reports by specific geographic area

Colloborate the with keystakholders and manage the content workflow in the creation of the pre and post enrollment  regulatory materials.

Ensure that all regulatory materials meet CMS and DHCS requirements and are completed to meet internal and regulatory timelines

Support the thorough review of all sales and marketing and member materials to ensure that all benefits are displayed and described accurately and in accordance with CMS bid filings and regulations

Support supplemental vendor management processes and initiatives including KPI's, utilization data, service escalation and Quarterly Business Review.

Responsible for fostering positive relationships with internal and external constituents, by working cross functionally and collaboratively to resolve member issues.

Acts as an initial Marketing point of contact for Department Stakeholders throughout the company (Sales, DSO, Product, Pharmacy, etc.).

Works collaboratively across multiple departments to ensure compliance of all assigned marketing programs and stays abreast of relevant regulations and current Medicare and Medicaid marketing guidelines.

Manages projects from end-to-end by applying sound project management practices including deciding on and implementing appropriate solutions for problems that arise during projects.

Actively support the achievement of SCAN’s Vision and Goals.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field preferred. A comparable combination of education/experience and/or training will be considered.
  • 3 + years in Marketing project management. Regulatory compliance and production expertise is strongly preferred.
  • Experience marketing to the 65+ segment and / or Medicare Advantage experience is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of CMS regulations is strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to handle many tasks independently and simultaneously, demonstrating excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and ability to meet deadlines consistently without sacrificing quality, required.
