About The Team

ECommerce DevOps Group

Our DevOps team keeps us moving each day. The team oversees the CI/CD pipeline and production deployment.

What You’ll Own

  • Manage CI/CD pipeline
  • Ensure daily Build complete
  • Troubleshoot and fix broken build
  • Daily support for production and non-prod environments, proact and react to issues, need rotation to be on call for production support
  • Script and automate the day-to-day tasks
  • Provide consult service to engineers.

Where you’ll own it

You will own it in our buzzing Boston, MA hub on our hybrid basis. Hybrid is 2-3 days in the office. Candidates must be open and willing to relocate at their own expense to this office for consideration. While we are a large team of Worldpayers based in North America, we have collaborative spaces and regular opportunities to celebrate with each other in person.

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related discipline or equivalent years of experience.
  • 7-10 years of experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Linux environment, and in-process automation.
  • Hands-on experience with implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong leadership and mentoring to the team
  • Day-to-day Build Operations to ensure stability of the system
  • Proficiency in Linux operating systems, including command-line interface (CLI) usage, configuration, and maintenance
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a Linux environment
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
  • Familiarity with programming languages (Python, Java, etc.)
  • Experience working with following tools – Jenkins, Selenium, Kubernetes, Docker, Nexus
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems
  • Ability to dive into various unknown code bases
  • Fluency in sequence diagrams, class models, etc.
  • Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines

The pay range for this full-time position is $115,590.00 - $194,180.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
