Job description

THE COMPANY:

THE JOB:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be crucial in expanding market share and developing new client relationships. This position is based in Portland and reports directly to the VP of Sales, with a dotted line to the General Manager. The role focuses on creating new business opportunities and building long-term partnerships. In this role, you will focus on developing and maintaining relationships w/ engineers teams across the United States. This is a great opportunity for a technically driven seller who enjoys travelling to see clients in person.


THE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar field
  • Must live in the Western United States (Oregon, California Washington, Idaho, Colorado, Utah highly preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing driven sales role
  • 3-10 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in sectors like fasteners, casting, or injection molding
  • High technical aptitude and a strong understanding of product life cycles
  • Self-motivated with excellent research and communication skills
